Sales, AI and operations for owner-led businesses · Vero Beach & the Treasure Coast

Win more customers. Let AI do the busywork.

I have run a company. I know what a stalled quarter, a missed hire and a messy month-end feel like. I pair an experienced operator with AI that finds prospects, drafts the outreach and tracks the follow-up, so you spend your time selling and still make every call yourself.

Former CEO. Built GAEMS into a $20M company 15+ years in manufacturing in Asia $13M program across 41 hospitals

What I do

Three ways I help. The first one is where most owners start.

Most owners I talk to need more customers, are doing too much by hand, or are making big decisions with nothing written down. Those are fixable.

1 · Win more customers

A steady pipeline without hiring a sales team

Most owners don't need more ideas. They need more good conversations with the right buyers. I set up AI that finds them and keeps follow-up from slipping, and you do the selling.

  • A list of companies that fit your best customers, researched and kept current
  • First-draft outreach emails and follow-ups, written in your voice
  • Price sheets, call scripts and simple customer tiers
  • Competitor price tracking
  • A weekly pipeline report: who to call, what's stalled, what closed

I rebuilt a freight brokerage's sales from bought leads to outbound and closed three corporate accounts in the first month.

2 · AI in your business

Find the work AI can take off your plate

I look at how your business really runs, pick the tasks where AI saves the most time, and set them up so your people stay in charge.

  • Money: monthly numbers summarized in plain English, with changes flagged
  • People: job posts, role scorecards, interview questions, onboarding plans
  • Customers: draft replies to the questions you answer every week
  • Know-how: turn what is in your head into written procedures

3 · Operations and governance

Get the business out of your head

  • List what you personally do in a week, then keep, delegate, automate or stop
  • One-page procedures for your top recurring tasks
  • Three numbers reviewed every week
  • Who decides what, plus a monthly reporting pack
  • A short AI-use policy for your staff

For the skeptic

A Monday morning, before and after.

Pick a chore. See who does what. The pattern is the same every time: AI does the first draft, a person checks it, you decide.

Today

You think about outreach on Sunday night, then a customer emergency eats the week. Leads come from referrals and luck.

With AI

AI researches 25 to 100 companies that look like your best customers, writes a short brief on each with source links, ranks them, and drafts a first email for the top ones.

You still

Approve every message before it goes out. Pick the target customer. Take the calls. Nothing is sent without a person signing off.

These are examples of the kind of work AI handles well. They are not client results. Your numbers, your pace and your risk level decide what makes sense for you.

Fair questions

If you think AI is mostly hype, you are partly right.

I will not promise you a revolution. I will show you the few places where it saves real time and money, and tell you where it does not.

"Isn't this just a chatbot?"

A chatbot answers questions. A useful setup does a job: researches a list, drafts a report, sorts replies, and hands you a finished piece of work to approve.

"Will it replace my people?"

The goal is to take the repetitive research and paperwork off the people you already have, so they spend time on customers and judgment. Every setup has a person who approves the output.

"What about my data?"

Your files stay in your own folder, are used only for your work and are never mixed with another client's. At the end of the engagement I delete them on request. That goes in writing.

"What if it gets things wrong?"

It will, sometimes. That is why a person checks the work, every claim about a company or number has a source, and we start small enough that a mistake is cheap.

"What results can I expect?"

I do not guarantee revenue. We agree on a measurable goal, run for four weeks to set a baseline, and then set a target together.

"We tried a consultant before."

Tell me what happened. The usual causes are a vague goal, a big plan with no test, and no one owning the follow-up. I start with one small pilot so you can judge the work before you commit.

How we start

One conversation, one small pilot, real numbers.

Step one

Talk it through

Thirty minutes about your business, what is eating your time and what a good result would look like in numbers. If I am not the right fit, I will tell you.

Step two

Pick one job

We choose one task where AI can help: leads, reporting, hiring or procedures. We agree what success is and who approves the work.

Step three

Run 30 days and measure

You see the work every week. At day 30 we look at the numbers and decide together whether to stop, adjust or go further. Either side can end it with 30 days notice.

About Dean

Someone who has run a company, not just advised one.

I am Dean Mercier. I co-founded GAEMS and, as CEO, built it into a $20M portable gaming monitor company. I have spent more than 15 years working in manufacturing in Asia, and I have built outbound business development programs that replaced purchased leads.

Before that, I managed enterprise technology rollouts for hospital systems and state government, including a $13M program across 41 hospitals. I know what it takes to get people to change how they work.

I started Rebel Frog Studios in 2021 as a product design, sourcing and AI consulting studio. Today I bring the same hands-on approach to owners who want to use AI without the hype.

I do not give legal, tax or investment adviceI work alongside your attorney and accountant and tell you when to call them.
I do not guarantee resultsI commit to the process and the pace, and we measure together.

Where I work
